In October 2012 The Churchill Centre's Annual Conference, with an organizing team of ICS Canada Board directors, was held in the Royal York Hotel in Toronto. The Theme was "Churchill's North America": "From Foe to Friend" with the Keynote Speaker being Churchill's granddaughter, Celia Sandys, introduced by Ken Taylor, Canada's former Ambassador to Iran. The Sessions were arranged on a chronological basis commencing with the Revolutionary Period/The War of 1812, up to WWl. The Final Session dealt with the "Cold War, 1945-56." By general agreement the most outstanding session featured WWl veterans, George MacDonnell, Jack Rhind and Richard Rohmer. Attendees totalled 220, made up of 113 Canadians, 100 Americans and 7 British.
